Elizabeth Leigh Vassey

Elizabeth Leigh Vassey (born August 9, 1972) is an American actress. She is well-known for her roles as Emily Ann Sago, Captain Liberty and Captain Liberty in All My Children and in The Tick. Wendy Simms, in CSI: Crime Scene Investigation in 2001, Wendy Beaumont in Nikki & Nora in Nikki & Nora. Vassey played teenager Emily Ann Sago on the soap series All My Children from 1988 until 1991. She was a character who recurred on the TV show Tru Calling, as Dr. Carrie Allen. She has also appeared in a number of seasons and episodes of Two and a Half Men. Vassey was Wendy Simms, CSI: Crime Scene Investigation's recurring character between 2005 and 2010. Vassey was promoted from a regular cast member to the Wendy Simms role in the tenth season , and began appearing in the opening credits. Entertainment Weekly reported on June 1st of 2010 that Vassey will not return for the eleventh season of the show. Vassey made an appearance in an episode of the season. Vassey is married to David Emmerichs (a camera operator), started Neurosis to a T(ee) which is a business which designs and sells t-shirts with slogans for women. The slogans poke fun at the neuroses and worries of women which often have to do with relationships.
